Working with six groups recruited in Sheffield, ( a combination of elderly ex-service men, serving men, family groups and children of ex-service men and women) we delivered five workshops per group, led by a professional artist to explore and share memories with some workshops bringing the generations together.
We all have a story to tell, a moment in time that stands still for us, a person that changed our direction in life. These moments are, unfortunately often not captured or heard, and this is especially the case for older people and men within our culture. We will deliver an intergenerational project that will use creativity as a vehicle to tell our unheard stories.
