We’re delighted to share that MCVC has been featured in the latest edition of AroundTown Magazine, helping shine a spotlight on the work we do to support veterans and their families across South Yorkshire.

The feature, titled “MCVC Helps Veterans Find their Community After the Forces”, explores how the transition from military to civilian life can be challenging and highlights the importance of comradeship, belonging and practical support. It also showcases the wide range of activities, events and signposting services available through MCVC, along with the difference they make to the lives of local veterans.
With 20,000 printed copies distributed across more than 200 locations, alongside its online readership, AroundTown Magazine provides a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness of the support available to those who have served. We hope the article helps reach veterans who may not yet know that there’s a welcoming military family waiting for them at MCVC.
Whether you’re a veteran looking to reconnect with the military community, a family member wanting to know what support is available, or simply interested in learning more about our work, we encourage you to take a few minutes to read the feature.
