I have been asked by Chris Bradley to look for some volunteers to do some work with Sheffield mind below is a summary of the two projects, could you place them on facebook and the web and say Chris will be joining our 1pmZoom meeting today.
Article 1
Sheffield Mind has recently received funding to provide movement therapy to veterans and their families until Oct 2020 and we would like to raise awareness of this service and show our support during VJ day on the 15th of August.
So our idea is to do 10/15 minute sessions with veterans/families on zoom and record it and post it on social media throughout the day on VJ day. I was wondering if you would be willing to help us out.
We have 6 different focuses of movement therapy that we would like to focus on which are listed on the attached document.
The subject areas that we need volunteers for are the (3) Leading and Following and (5) Movement Journey.
Please would you let me know if anyone would like to be involved and we could meet up via Zoom on Friday.
Article 2
I’m emailing to ask a favour – as part of our new service for families of veterans we have planned to create an ‘online mental health toolbox’. Our plan for this toolbox is to get Armed Forces Families stories and mental health tips, provide mental health techniques and provide information about mental health. However we don’t want to create something that families aren’t interested in.
Therefore we have set a meeting for next Thursday 13th August at 1.30pm for families to join and help us brainstorm and tell us what they would have wanted or do want on this online toolbox for mental health. We want it to be devised by Armed Forces Families for Armed Forces Families.
I was wondering if you would be willing to join us via zoom and take part in our brainstorming event to get the online toolbox started?
Please let me know if you are able to attend and I will send you a zoom invitation.
