Welcome to our February Newsletter. Scroll down for an exclusive 3D fly-through of this year’s Cumbrian Challenge routes, a date for your diaries and hear more about our extraordinary team taking on the epic Marathon des Sables next year.

We also wanted to introduce you to Tom.  Without people like Tom working on the ground to support those who are struggling in their transition from the military, we wouldn’t be making the difference we are to veterans lives and furthermore their families lives.  And, it’s importantly because of your efforts supporting us as a charity that we are able to have the likes of Tom doing what he does!  We therefore thought you may like to hear more about Tom by reading about a typical day for him at WWTW.

“When I first meet my clients, they are typically unemployed, complex, sometimes non-trusting. They may have unrealistic goals or perhaps no hope for the future. But they are also reliant, keen and trustworthy. Paid employment is so important for mental well-health and working alongside the NHS, the ex-servicemen and women I work with are finding and keeping great jobs, which has a positive impact on their mental health.”
